Its with great honor to find out today that for the first time in the history of Swiss Golf a man (Joel Girrbach) will represent Switzerland at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Thanks to the "Reallocation" process quota places from IGFJoel (61th on to final Golf Olympic qualification) did benefit from unused quota as from July second.

Joel Girrbach was part of a CaddiePlayer/SwissGolf pilot project dated in 2015, during this period Joel entered 39 rounds into the CaddiePlayer protocol guided by CaddiePlayer founder Stephane Barras.

Interesting enough Joel Girrbach current best career results was at the China Open where he posted a Top3 on the DPWorld tour and China is where the CaddiePlayer protocole was developed (2009-2014) and one of the research participant, Justine Rose won Gold in Rio 2016 with a score of -16.

Quoted from Stephane Barras Founder of CaddiePlayer

"I am pleased to see so many Players I interact with included into the 2024 Paris Golf Olympic. Beeing from my Mother side French and having coached several tour player at the National Golf Course where the Golf Game will be played is a dream come true, I am looking forward to see if one of them* will get a medal"
