DPWorld Genesis Championship, the last chance in South Korea, Ross Fisher magic number 114th & 2025 tour card secured.
From my desk in Crans-Montana, Switzerland I am reading/monitoring all the "Stories of agony and ecstasy that unfolded the DP World Tour card battle in South Korea".
Happy for some, surprise from others, emotional from one... and me allready thinking about the 2025 DPWorld season where I shall be more often.
While I am extremly happy for my Countryman Joel Girrbach (109th) achieving his best career result, I am sad for Wu Ashun (115th) missing the cut line by 10 points only, not forgeting a emotional "Green Room" talk from Edoardo Molinari (140th) showing that even the "Master of Data" can't master them...
Girrbach and Wu both players I know well for helping in the past, shows us that life on tour is tough and every shots counts in reference to Mark Broadie remember meeting him at the 2012 Golf Science Congress.
"That‘s a wrap for the 24 season, It‘s been an incredible year with many high‘s & low‘s. Especially the last few weeks were mentaly and physicaly extremely challenging. Probably the toughest of my career so far. So I‘m very happy to keep my card on @dpworldtour and I‘m really looking forward to the 2025 season."
